Board meeting

The next board meeting is scheduled for January 24, 2009, at the Eiseley Branch Library, 1530 Superior, in Lincoln.  We'll be deciding our priority bills for the 2009 legislative session and planning for our annual Legislative Day at the State Capitol Building.  The meeting begins at 10:00 am; plan to attend now.

Who can vote in Nebraska?

Registering to vote is required in Nebraska to be eligible to vote. Check deadlines here.

To register you must:

  • be a United States citizen and a resident of the State of Nebraska.
  • be 18 years of age on or before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
  • have not been convicted of a felony, or if convicted, at least two years have passed since the completion of your sentence including parole term.
  • have not been officially found to be mentally incompetent.
